VACANCY:
Day Specialist: Oxford, CT 1 Full-Time Position
REPORTS TO:
Program Director
REQUIREMENTS;
HS Diploma/GED required. Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to perform basic mathematics, including the calculation of percentages, fractions, and decimals. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel required. Ability to achieve certification in Physical Management Techniques, CPR/First Aid and others as deemed necessary by Program Director, Vice President or the agency.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assisting with consumer orientation and pre-placement assessment as requested by the Program Director. Dispensing and documenting medication regiments, in accordance with DDS medication certification and administration status. Job coaching. Providing direct support for daily activities whether facility based or within the community. Assisting with the development of the individual plan (IP). Maintaining on-going case records of consumers’ needs and services, all corresponding documentation concerning the consumers’’ status, time and attendance, behavioral data and reports and other assigned by the Program Director or designee. Transportation of participants to and from and between activities or work sites. General maintenance: cleaning, performance reporting, mileage, accident and damage of any and all equipment (including vehicles) as assigned to or for which made responsible. Other responsibilities as assigned by the Program Director, designee or Vice President.
SALARY:
$12.60/hr
