We are in the New England Farm Workers' Council building, corner of Hampden and
Main Streets, downtown Springfield.
We are located only two blocks south of the Springfield Bus Terminal and two blocks from the
AmTrak station in the heart of the downtown area.
Springfield is approximately 90 minutes west of Boston via the Mass. Turnpike and 30 minutes north of Hartford via I-91. Main Street is accessible from a variety of highways and interstates that pass through Springfield.
Travel from Mass. Turnpike (East and West):
Exit 6 Springfield. Turn left at exit ramp onto I-291 west. Proceed about 4
miles to intersection with I-91 north and south. Merge into I-91 south (toward
Hartford) and take first exit (Exit 7 Springfield Center). At bottom of ramp,
make left at first traffic light and go under I-91 to next light. Turn left at
light onto East Columbus Ave. and proceed three blocks to Gridiron Street. Make
a right and go one block to Main. Make a right and go one block to Hampden. Make
another right and look for street parking or public parking midway down the
block.
From I-91 South:
Exit 6 Springfield Center.
From the south, at traffic light at bottom of exit ramp, you will be on E.
Columbus Ave. Remain in left lane and continue to follow E. Columbus through two
more traffic lights (approx. 5 blocks) to Gridiron Street. Make a right
onto Gridiron and go one block to Main Street. Make a right onto Main and
go one block to Hampden Street. Make another right and look for parking.
Public parking is midway down the block on your left.
From I-91 North:
Exit 7 Springfield Center.
From the north, at bottom of ramp,
make left at first traffic light and go under I-91 to next light. Turn left at
light onto East Columbus Ave. and proceed three blocks to Gridiron Street. Make
a right and go one block to Main. Make a right and go one block to Hampden. Make
another right and look for street parking or public parking midway down the
block on left.
