Corporation for Public Management

Helping Youth & Adults Break Barriers to Achievement

“Self-esteem and personal dignity starts with the ability to become confident and self-sufficient”

Started in 1980, Corporation for Public Management’s (CPM) goal is to enable people to break the cycle of poverty through its educational, training, and employment programs.  The organization seeks innovative solutions to social issues such as teen parenting, public assistance dependency, lack of formal education, training, and employment. Additionally, those with special needs are provided the opportunity, through support, to remain in their communities to lead productive lives surrounded by friends and family rather than in institutionalized settings.

Corporation for Public Management serves recipients of transitional assistance, disconnected- at-risk youth, and developmentally disabled adults.

CPM has always operated with a goal of helping the individuals served by its programs attain their fullest personal and economic potential regardless of the severity of the barriers they may face.  The agency’s approach is to provide choices, increase social and work competence, provide opportunities for participation in the greater community and develop those opportunities for all its participants.
